Bruce:
Hello everyone, this is CCarbon speaking.
And this is also our first AMA live streaming. We hope that through this AMA, our new followers will have a deeper understanding about Carbon Trading & CCarbon.
Today we are very honored to have Rishi, BD from CCarbon.
And Nehemie, Manager of the CCarbon Community.
You can say hello now and introduce yourself.

Rishi:
Hello everyone, I’m Rishi. Thank you for having me today.

Nehemie:
Hello! I am Nehemie, Ccarbon community manager.

Bruce:
Thank you for taking the time to join our AMA. We will proceed from two directions today, the first is industry direction, and the second is product direction.
Rishi, Could you please give us an overview of the entire carbon industry?

Rishi:
So, when we talk about the carbon industry, we’re basically diving into everything related to fighting climate change. It’s like a huge marketplace where people buy and sell ways to reduce carbon emissions. This includes the buying and selling of carbon credits, the implementation of carbon pricing mechanisms such as carbon taxes and emissions trading systems, and the development of projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions. The industry also involves the establishment of standards for measuring, verifying, and reporting carbon emissions, as well as the creation of financial instruments like carbon futures and derivatives. We can also mention international cooperation whose role is in shaping the global carbon market, with efforts focused on promoting sustainable development and combating climate change.

And it’s not just about making money; it’s about working together globally to tackle climate issues and make sure we’re all doing our part.

Bruce:
OK,thank you for your perspective. Could you please tell us
What kind of difficulties does the carbon trading market encounter now?

Rishi:
The carbon trading market faces several challenges, including issues related to transparency and traceability in carbon trading. There is a need for unified certification standards to ensure the credibility and reliability of carbon credits. We need to make sure everyone knows where their carbon credits are coming from and that they’re legit.

In addition, the lack of active trading, market mechanism failure, and the distortion of carbon price information, are the main problems restricting the healthy and orderly development of the carbon market.

We can also talk about the existing problems of opacity, insufficient liquidity, and regulatory restrictions in the current carbon market that hinder the extensive trading and allocation of carbon assets.

Bruce:
OK,Could you briefly summarize what CCarbon is?

Rishi:
CCarbon is a global carbon credit trading chain platform that utilizes blockchain technology to address challenges in the carbon market. It aims to promote the smooth and efficient trading of carbon assets on a global scale by enhancing transparency, liquidity, and compliance. Through the integration of major carbon exchanges and the establishment of a standardized framework, CCarbon facilitates secure, transparent, and efficient trading of carbon assets. Additionally, the platform offers smart contract technology to ensure safety and compliance, while also lowering the entry threshold for stakeholders to encourage wider market participation. Overall, CCarbon is committed to driving innovation and sustainability in the carbon market through its advanced technological solutions and industry-leading practices.

Bruce:
That’s a concise & informative answer. I have another question for Rishi. CCarbon is known as RWA project. Could you please introduce what is RWA?

Rishi:
Real World Assets (RWA) refer to tangible and intangible assets in the physical world (for example real estate, bonds, commodities). Tokenization of RWA brings these off-chain assets to the blockchain, opening up new possibilities and potential use cases. Tokenized RWA can be stored and traced on-chain, increasing efficiency and transparency while reducing the potential for human error.

With the rapid rise of the RWA field, various projects have sprung up. Currently, more than 20 projects have been successfully launched and running, and there are countless more projects that will be launched soon.

But RWA projects are different from traditional encryption projects. First of all, RWA projects are supported by real underlying assets. To ensure the authenticity and legitimacy of the asset, every RWA asset tokenization must satisfy two core elements: representation and ownership, and both elements must be on-chain.

Representation means that the assets must be real and cannot be imagined. In addition, other details of the asset, such as whether it is physical, whether it will expire, who the actual holder is, etc., need to be clear and recorded.

Ownership relates to the legal ownership of assets. This means that the ownership of the asset must be written on the chain through legal means, ensuring a consensus on the holder of the asset and providing a resolution mechanism for possible disputes.
Bruce:
OK,We have a clear understanding of RWA.
Next I have a question for Nehemie.
What pain points can CCarbon solve for carbon-neutral tracks?

Nehemie:
CCarbon can solve the problems of mutual distrust and lack of consensus in carbon trading in various countries. And provide enterprises with a solution that meets environmental protection and carbon neutral requirements. This is also our advantage. Because projects can be successfully implemented in the real world.

As we all know about mining, the reason why it is opposed by many governments is that mining is just a waste of computing power and electricity. It does not really store data or solve certain current problems. For example, metamask, everyone knows that this is a cryptocurrency wallet, but in most places like walmart or mcdonald’s. If you say that I will use the crypto in metamask to pay, the cashier will refuse you. CCarbon has taken this step and truly combined blockchain technology with real-life problems and implemented it.

To give an example that everyone knows, Tesla’s Gigafactory in Germany. The local government very much hopes that Tesla’s Gigafactory can be built in Germany, but local environmental groups are very resistant to this. Because building a factory requires cutting down this area of forest. After a long period of negotiations, Tesla was finally allowed to build the factory here after promising to local environmental groups to plant more trees elsewhere. What if there is CCarbon at this time? Things will be different. As a company, I can purchase CCarbon Token. CCarbon Token uses behavioral mining, which means that as a company, I do not need to actually plant trees, but other people plant trees in order to earn CCarbon Token. And the final results are stored through blockchain technology, which is true and valid and can be queried by anyone. This reduces the company’s costs, and miners can also get paid for their true environmentally friendly behavior. Compared with data from exchanges, CCarbon Token is more easily recognized by local government departments.

Bruce:
That’s a very easy to understand example. I believe that many companies will encounter such problems in the process of development. So now that everyone knows what kind of problems CCarbon can solve. So when can CCarbon start solving these problems? Can you tell us about CCarbon’s recent plans?

Nehemie:
Of course, as you can see now. The entire project shifted its focus to operations and marketing. Recently we are working intensively to build a community for our users. We are also in contact with some third-party blockchain teams. I hope it can bring more new possibilities to CCarbon.

Regarding products, we expect to launch our first DApp and mining manual in the Q3 or Q4 of this year.

Bruce:
Yes, indeed, operations and markets are a very important part for blockchain and cryptocurrency.

Today we talked about the whole carbon industry,RWA & CCarbon.
Thank you very much to Rishi and Nehemie for bringing us their perspectives.
Thank you to everyone for participating today.
